Description
The Tubolo. Take a typical tube-style drum, cross it with a Brazilian Rebolo and you have perhaps one of the most versatile hand drums yet. Tune them to pitches and use them like congas. Play it on its side like a Brazilian Rebolo. Tune them low and you have a nice set of Gathering drums, African Djun Djuns or Surdos for Samba.
The Tubolo features Groove Masters trademark AirDrum system of vents along the bottom of the drum. This allows the drum to project sound without the need to tilt or place the drum onto a stand. The internal, specially designed Bass Port creates deep and resonant bass tones. The playing surface is made from Napa vinyl, which creates a mellow sound and is easy on the hands. Tubolos are available in 3 sizes: 10" (25cm), 12"(30cm) and 14"(35cm) diameter, and are 24"(60cm) tall. Choose from 5 attractive finishes.
