A pristine condition, pre-owned rock machine from the good folks at Hagstrom Guitars!
The Ultra Max shares a similar body as the Super Swede but with a larger proportioned mahogany body topped with a thick custom carved flame maple top. It features a familiar 25.5" scale length with Hagstrom's H-Expander™ truss-rod and Resinator™ fingerboard.
The specially wound Custom 60 humbucking pickups utilize Nylon coated wire united with an Alnico 5 magnet (unmistakably familiar to the “Custom 58”). However, the Custom 60 ultimately packs a mighty punch and hot sizzle compared to the vintage voiced Custom 58. If that's not enough, the Ultra Max also sports coil splitting pots to go from crunchy humbuckers to sparkly single coils at the flick of the wrist.
