From Stevie Ray Vaughan to John Mayer, the Tube Screamer has been a part of countless recordings.
The Gritador is James David Brown’s nod to the Tube Screamer, tweaked to perfection!
James dialed in the midrange to be more nuanced.
You still get the Screamer’s classic midrange bump but without some of the nasaliness that can sometimes plague this circuit.
Browne Amplification altered the clipping to be slightly less symmetrical.
They also tweaked the low end to give the Gritador more fullness while still maintaining a tight and punchy low end.
This is Dave's favorite version of his favorite overdrive. Just plug it in and let go. This thing SCREAMS!
